Congratulations on your (soon to be built!) new house! :) So glad you love my happy little mirror (I love it too!) (the circles remind me of happy little bubbles.) Unfortunately, I bought it at HomeSense eight (maybe nine?) years ago (so, eons ago), and it isn’t really of any particular brand (as a lot of HomeSense stuff tends to be). So sorry that I can’t be more helpful! But I hope you’re able to find something similar somewhere! Good luck (with both your new house, and your mirror search!)

Comment on Nursery natterings (part four: the grand-ish tour of our sweet little nursery) by Joy /2014/08/nursery-natterings-part-four-the-grand-ish-tour-of-our-sweet-little-nursery/#comment-190 Wed, 14 Sep 2016 03:44:12 +0000 /?p=5838#comment-190 Hi! Thank you! Two years later and I STILL love my little guy’s room (although it’s not nearly as tidy as it once was – toddlers aren’t particularly tidy little folk LOL). I went with the “white” dresser, not the stain – the white non-stain dresser has a bit of a slightly glossy finish to it, so I figured it would be a little more durable against the, um… mess that comes with also using it as a change table (and it has been SUPER durable – there’s not a mark on it!) Btw, the Gulliver crib has also been fantastic (great choice!) Hope this helps! And congratulations on expecting your little one! :)

Whichever one you had chosen looks perfect!

Thank you for your story! Rest assured knowing that these two have a very good home here with me (Irwin is purring on the couch next to me as I type.) They are two amazing kitties. :)

They used to be cats of my own. The black one was named Salem, and the grey and white was Smokey. We had to gove them up because we were moving and i miss them so much. We took them to the Pet Humane ( idk if i spelled it right ) Society and they were taken to a foster home. I guess they may have changed their names there. I could tell it was Smokey by his eyes, and him and Salem never leave eachothers sides. I could also tell it was Salem by the bending of his whiskers and the white spot you can somewhat see on his chest area. Smokey was my best friend for years. I used to dress him up when i was little and he would hate it, but i would love it. I taught him a bunch of things. He loved our computer chair and if you sat there he would come cuddle up or hug you. I taught him how to hug

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback regarding the progress we’ve made on our home’s exterior so far (there’s lots left to do, but it’s definitely better than it was!) We made some more (much needed!) improvements over this past summer – I’m hoping to put a post together to show off those changes shortly (now that the Christmas hustling and bustling and merriment and craziness is all over.) I’ll definitely check out your site too! Thank you again! :)

I love the difference you made in the look of your house. Using the stick on numbers on your mailbox is a great idea. It looks very professional.

I stage properties for a living and am always looking for ideas to pass on to my customers as I am hired for many consultations before the property goes on the market.

Keep posting. My site is http://www.uniquehomesolutions.ca

Comment on How we announced some really big news (about a teeny tiny little person) by Joy /2014/05/how-we-announced-some-really-big-news-about-a-teeny-tiny-little-person/#comment-184 Wed, 30 Sep 2015 12:43:36 +0000 /?p=5645#comment-184 Thank you so much!!! I’m not gonna lie – I worked really hard on that card! But not because it was particularly difficult – I’m just a little ocd like that LOL. I used good ol’ Microsoft Word and added the pictures (I googled “picture of a lime” and chose the image that I liked best) and played with it all until I was happy. :) Congratulations to you on expecting!!! SO exciting! :)
